avoid variable width in eip status widget

• mcnair: the on/off button should not move horizontally as the different proccess show up (starting, authetification,...). this is jumpy and looks bad. There are different ways to tackle this, here is one.

• kali: another option would be just to leave it right and make fixed width and word-wrap. it's related to the button makeup #2860 (closed), but we can add the location details also on that.
