We need a dedicated panel to get hold of error messages

Until now, we're using the eip status panel to display errors to user. But unless they are very short, this gets completely unusable (unreadable in this case)

I suggest to use an invisible panel just below the eip status box.

If something fails, we can set "Failed (with errors)" or something like that for the eip status, and the readable error below (no more than 2 or 3 lines, for more we can get the user going to the log viewer).
