Clarify the logo's license

The current logo was recolorised and redimensioned by @poncho , base on the one done from scratch by @jvoisin, based on sketches and drafts done by Marie Rose.

There is an issue on Debian's side about the authorship/credit of Marie Rose.

What is the best-practise in this case?

I'm not a lawyer, so don't take this for granted, but, AFAIK, it depends on the people holding the copyright.

Two possibilities come to my mind:

• Both, Marie Rose and @poncho, transfer the copyright to you.

or

• We give credit to them and list them in README.md.

I don't really care. I can do what ever needs to be done to make debian happy.

If I got @jvoisin right, then it would be appropriate to list all three authors as copyright holders. Marie Rose 2016, Julien Voisin 2018 and @poncho 2018. If Marie and @poncho hand over the copyrights to @jvoisin, then only @jvoisin needs to be listed, just like for the rest of mat2.

Besides, we don't mind listing several copyright holders in the debian/copyright file. All we need to know is which ones we have to list there ;)

FTR: We just did another upload to the Debian archive, the debian/copyright file now reads:

Copyright: © 2016 Marie Rose

IMHO, given the above statement by @poncho, this should be okay now (and this issue could be closed).
