For a slightly slower campaign, consider removing the \glspl{xp} rewards for killing monsters.
The standard setup has characters swelling with new abilities every couple of sessions.
Removing the monster slaying focus should initially demand players spend \glspl{storypoint} for \glspl{xp}, before they start finishing Side Quests.
