HOW-TO manual on splash site
STUB
Context
- how the commands work is sorta complicated and we don't have a lot of space to explain it in the
INFO
response - we have gotten several requests for a user manual on the splash page
- proposal: let's make a HOW-TO page on the splash site and use it as a way to iterate on ideas for training materials we could recycle for in-person trainings
Behavior
(sketch)
WHEN I visit the splash site
- THEN there is a main page with a header with 3 entries:
Signalboost
,FAQ
,Manual
- AND THEN the
Signalboost
entry is green to indicate selected, and the other 2 are pink to indicate not selected (or other color variations if that looks bad!)
WHEN I click on Signalboost
- THEN I go to the homepage, which contains the overview text,
Getting Started
andGot Questions?
section (which links to the FAQ) -- it does not contain the FAQ anymore
WHEN I click on FAQ
- THEN I go to the FAQ page
- AND THEN the
FAQ
entry in the header is highlighted but the other 2 are not
WHEN I click on Manual
- THEN I go to the HOW TO manual
- AND THEN the
Manual
header is highlighted and other two are not - AND THEN I see a page with detailed descriptions of how all the commands work and a guide through common usage flows (setting up a channel and getting people to subscribe. turning on hotline messages. using vouching. checking to see how many people are subscribed. etc...)
Open Questions
- perhaps the header for the manual should be called
How-To
instead ofManual
?
