Support for rails 5.2 (ActiveRecord)

In Debian, we are in the process of transition to rails 5 for buster.

I saw a comment here regarding rails 5 and debian. It would be great if rails 5 is supported by the time we are ready to move to rails 5.

@srud Debian maintainer speaking here: Thanks for notifying -- what's the roadmap ahead? I've asked some months ago on the debian-ruby@ mailing list, and back then there was no clear timeframe. Currently, rails 5 is only in experimental. Is it planned, to ship rails 5 in buster?

@georg Sorry to have missed your last message. We are planning to ship rails5 in buster. We may be uploading rails5 in unstable in a couple of weeks.
