Modify or create a plugin for a carddav/caldav service to work like trees

As #1 can be very problematic for the number of MUA (including the 0 chance to get this into Mail.app from apple), another approach would be modify or plug the "trees-like-encryption-system to a current caldav/carddav service. This way people can use different ways of storing calendars and contacts and sync them between devices.
