Gitlab Pages - Not able to get Let's Encrypt Certificate
Hi all,
first of all: Thanks to all contributors of 0xacab.org it is a very helpful tool for activists!
Now, our problem is: We are hosting a Gitlab Pages site using Jekyll at refugees-welcome-mv.itcouldbewor.se. We also added two custom domains refugees-welcome-mv.org and www.refugees-welcome-mv.org. The first one is configured to point to refugees-welcome-mv.itcouldbewor.se via an ANAME-Record. The second one uses a CNAME record.
In the past at least for refugees-welcome-mv.org it was no problem for Gitlab to automatically get a Let's Encrypt certificate. Just recently I discovered that this no longer works. The current certificate is soon about to expire on June 28th and Gitlab shows the following error message:
Something went wrong while obtaining the Let's Encrypt certificate for www.refugees-welcome-mv.org. To retry visit your domain details.
I also know that another project hosted on 0xacab.org suffers from the same problem and cannot get Let's Encrypt certificates for their custom domain.
best regards, refugees-welcome-mv
