Darwin user home directory (/Users) has permissions that are too loose
The user home directory in Darwin (/Users) has permissions that are seemingly too loose for sshd StrictModes:
foobar@blunder:~ 0$ ls -al / | grep Users drwxrwxr-t 6 root admin 204 5 Apr 11:07 Users foobar@blunder:~ 0$
StrictModes "yes" also appears to be the default. However, ssh and sshd clearly work on Darwin. What's going on here?
The problem for us is that we are checking file permissions (with check_key_file_permission) assuming what we understand to be the criteria for StrictModes. We should probably bring this up with openssh-unix-dev.
