rdiff add basedir confvar
Hi,
First of all THANKS to all ninjas for your great job. I'm using this software for about 10 years.
My little contribution here (after a fatal issue):
My confing looks like this: [...] include = /mnt/sdb/* [...]
After a reboot /mnt/sdb was not mounted and backupninja was launched anyway, so just silently remove all data on the backup.
It's not the first time it happened to me, so I need to fix it this time.
I've created rdiff2 script based on rdiff and added a new confvar called "basedir". If basedir doesn't exists rdiff-backup launch a FATAL and die (without deleting any file, of course).
Files attached (based on Debian Stable).
