Error when installing riseupVPN

When i install RiseupVPN version: 0.21.11-5-gd83fd91 i get an error during the installation process. See attached. Is this known already? Also, we should make sure error messages are part of the branding process. This should say RiseupVPN, not bitmask.

Looks like the error occured during installation of previous version. Can you show the content of /tmp/bitmask-uninstall.log

looks like a duplicate of #717

This is already fixed on the main branch, we need a new release of the client for macOS, iirc this is the same issue as #744 (closed)

Does it mean that a solution has already been find? If yes, is it a mean to install it on my computer?

Can't find /tmp/bitmask-uninstall.log on my computer.

Same issue for me (on Mac OS 14.4.1) :

"Error during installation process (bitmaskvpn): "There was an error during the installation script, things might be broken. Please report this error and attach /tmp/bitmask-uninstall.log"

-The (partially?) installed VPN will then fail to connect.

This should be fixed in the latest release for macOS, https://dl.bitmask.net/RiseupVPN/osx/RiseupVPN-installer-0.24.5.dmg

please try it out and let us know! currently switching locations is broken in the macOS app, so please use the automatic/recommended location selection
