Linux: Can't connect: 'Could not run ['/sbin/ip6tables', '--new-chain', 'bitmask']: None'
Synopsis
As in the title -- upon clicking 'Turn on', it immediately returns to 'Unsecured Connection'. Doesn't work for any server.
It's the same issue as #416 (closed), but that one is long closed and has never been resolved.
I have ip6tables v1.8.4 (legacy) on my system, though the /sbin/ip6tables
is a symlink to a symlink to a symlink, eventually to /usr/sbin/xtables-legacy-multi
. Don't know if this influences anything.
Distro & kernel
OS: Linux Mint 20.2 x86_64
Kernel: 5.4.0-155-generic
