ERROR: could not fetch geolocation: connection refused
Hi,
I commented in another thread yesterday, but I realize this should go in its own, as I can see no other bug reports with this info.
I've been using Kali's 0.21.6~focal+5 deb package for months, in Debian 11, without any issues.
Some days ago it started failing. Here's the log from today: systray.log
Comparing to previous logs, this is the error I think is relevant:
ERROR: could not fetch geolocation: Post https://api.black.riseup.net:9001/json: dial tcp 198.252.153.107:9001: connect: connection refused
Trying to go to https://api.black.riseup.net:9001/json in a browser shows an HSTS issue and a SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER warning (certificate seems fine, though).
This is the actual error reported by firefox:
https://api.black.riseup.net:9001/json
El emisor del certificado de la otra parte no se reconoce.
Seguridad estricta de transporte HTTP: true
Pinning de clave pública HTTP: false
After that error, other errors already commented in other threads appear, such as "TLS error".
If there is any other information needed, or any other test that I should do, please let me know.
Thanks a lot for Riseup-VPN
