LinuxMint 20 installation is failing
Hi, so first of all, LInux Mint 20 no longer allows snapd by dafault, so I had to delete the .pref file, and after that then snap is allowed. Please see this link for more details. https://fossbytes.com/how-to-enable-snap-and-install-snap-packages-on-linux-mint-20/
Anyway, I am able to install snap/gnome, and then I can install riseup. This is what happens when i do it via the console (sudo snap install --classic riseup-vpn) Ensure prerequisites for "riseup-vpn" are available / riseup-vpn 0.21.2-8-gfaf11431 from LEAP Encryption Access Project (leapsnaps) installed
But now here is where things get tricky. 1- there is no folder .config/leap.. So it is like the installation failed that step. 2- There is no launcher folder with Riseup. If i open it on the software manager (snap store) there is the "launch" and the "remove" buttons, but launching it does nothing. If i try to launch via the console, the following happens:
(/snap/bin/riseup-vpn.launcher) qt5ct: using qt5ct plugin qt5ct: D-Bus system tray: no Segmentation fault (core dumped)
And from there RiseUp VPN does not open. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks,
