bitmask-helper cannot be removed and blocks another installation
Whenever windows updates it does something to the VPN service where the icon that shows whether or not the VPN is on or off becomes stuck in a grey colored icon that says checking status. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall multiple times and the grey button still is there saying check status without the app even being on the laptop anymore and bc of this when I try to re-install the app it will not install and I get an abort error saying Riseup VPN is still running even though it's not on the computer anymore. There is a remnant file left on the computer named "C:\Program Files\RiseupVPN\bitmask-vpn.exe" that I suspect is the culprit for this but I can't remove it manually so far. The only way to get rid of it is to reset the entire computer and I've done that several times, only to have the VPN work for awhile and then glitch up again and get stuck in the grey icon mode repeatedly. I am not sure how to fix this at all. Can you please let me know what the issue is and if the offending bitmask file can be removed via power shell or command prompt and what string would I need to type in order to do so? Best, Asher!
