Riseup VPN font error

Running the application leads to many warnings, some of which I've included in here (the code block feature of the issue wasn't working for some reason), but it gets really repetitive so I didn't include it all. Also attached is a screenshot of the applet; the text is unreadable, but the application seems to function despite that.
