Bitmask in a container, ports problem
Using https://github.com/leapcode/bitmask_client/blob/develop/docker/bitmask-docker.sh we are able to run bitmask in a docker container.
We are using @--net host
@ switch to run docker which helps us to get vpn working in the host from the container. That flags also allows bitmask to open ports 1984 and 2013 in the host machine so we can use mail as if we were running bitmask in the host machine.
The problem comes when you want to run a bitmask app in a docker container and use different ports so you can run a second bitmask instance on the host (useful for developers).
Fist try was to forward ports to a different port in the host (e.g. -p 2984:1984) but that didn't work.
Removing @--net host
@ we are no longer able to reach the ports in the container and we haven't figured out why.
It could be a firewall thing but disabling the firewall doesn't seem to help.
