Fix Node Group, Event create, update. #213

One big commit. Adds:-
 * Authenticated users only can use API for CUD operations.
 * Fixes, although messy, the mix of Clean and UUID operations.
 * Adds 'form' checks that are done from the UI.
 * Fixes Date mapping - see also #214
