Text marked as 'bold' is not really 'bold'

Due to the CSS, I guess, text marked as 'bold' isn't really after being rendered, in the resulting HTML.

In the following screenshot, both 'new' and 'old' are marked as bold, but the difference to the rest of the text is marginal.
