Updating file attachments
When I upload to crabgrass an updated version of a file that is already an attachment for a wiki page, the file is renamed with (n) postpended to the file name (n = 1, 2, etc.). This requires that all links to the file must be updated. I request that the newly updated file retain the same name. What happens to the old file? One option is that old files are overwritten and lost (after warning the user). I would be happy with that, but maybe others would not. Another options is that old files are renamed (in the manner of archived Unix log files, where file numbers are incremented by 1, so (1) becomes (2), (2) becomes (3), etc.). A third alternative is that some version control is put in place for attached files. I would be happy with any of these options.
