some ssh server pubkeys are added to known_hosts on every connection
I'm using the following ssh client configuration:
Host * ProxyCommand monkeysphere ssh-proxycommand %h %p
I was surprised to find many many duplicated keys in @~/.ssh/known_hosts@, added by Monkeysphere. It even seems to me that for a small set of hosts, the server pubkey is inserted on every connection.
This behaviour seems to happen only for hosts that have their sshd listening on a non-standard port, for which I have something like this in my ssh client configuration:
Host host.example.net Port 2222
In this case, every duplicated line start with @[host.example.net]:2222 ssh-rsa@. The only difference between them is the Monkeysphere timestamp at the end of the line.
