Changing Title of File Page not possible

It is not possible to change the title / unique name /summary of a page of Type "File".

The page title is derived from the name of the uploaded file. If you click on "Edit Title" next to the title, a popup opens where the field values can be changed. But the values cannot be stored. According to a crabgrass user, only titles containing special characters cause problems (see below). I reproduced the bug uploading a document RiseUp.txt - the title could not be changed.

PLEASE NOTE: as of 09/2017 there is a bug in the platform which may prevent you from changing the title of the page that was automatically chosen on upload at a later point if the file name was longer and contains special characters. In this case you will also not be able to change the “unique name” for the file page. A “unique name” is a way to simplify the URL for the page instead of what was automatically created. Therefore, make sure that what you upload has a title which will be converted to something acceptable and short. In the case of this document, for example, you would choose “RiseUp.docx” which would give you a page title of “RiseUp”, and this can then easily be changed back and forth to whatever you please. Do not, on the other hand, as a first file, upload something that is called “RiseUp_v002-09-2017.docx”, because the system will convert this to “RiseUp v002 09 2017” for a title, and it will not let you change it later.
