CSS/HTML : differentiate private elements of list of pages in group

When listing pages of a group, there's no easy way to differentiate private pages from public ones. This should be achievable easily with some CSS (where easy is without any knowledge of underlying software, so there might be some complexity that I haven't taken into account). For example showing a red bar near lines for private pages, or using a different color on the lines, or using a logo of some sort for marking those lines as private.
