When trying to run, program reports "no helpers". When copying bitmask-root to the directory, program does not function.

Platform: Void Linux x86_64 glibc
Installation method: built from source
Version: 0.21.11-78-gec3f2714

Expected result: The program launches correctly and I am fully able to connect and disconnect from every VPN location.

Actual result: If trying to run the program as-is after compiling from source, it loads for a while before reporting "Could not find helpers. Please check your installation".

This is accompanied by these terminal errors:

2023/06/14 16:27:27 ERROR: no helpers
2023/06/14 16:27:27 Can't find bitmask-root

After copying the file pkg/pickle/helpers/bitmask-root to /usr/local/sbin/bitmask-root, and subsequently running the program again, it repeatedly asks for authentication (via a GNOME dialogue box). Even after rapidly accepting these boxes, the program shows that it is connecting to Riseup's Amsterdam, NL server, but to no avail.

After clicking "disconnect", the program still reports "connecting". But now the "disconnect" button is a blank button which does nothing.
