python-pyqt5 tries to install python3 bindings (sid)

Currently, the sid build is failing with this error:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 python3-pyqt5 : Depends: qtbase-abi-5-9-0 which is a virtual package and is not provided by any available package

I don't see a python3-pyqt5 dependency anywhere, so my interpretation is that sid is deprecating the python2 bindings?
