VPN not connecting (sid)

I'm testing latest zesty packages of the master component from today (0.10.0+0~20170930081509.21170+master+zesty~19.g0c497dba) and can't connect the VPN. I log in to a testuser325@demo.bitmask.net account (registered 3d ago), click on the VPN Enable button, which turns into a Turn On button shortly afterwards. Clicking on Turn On shows a never-ending VPN connecting... status.
