What should we do with files that can't have metadata?
The obvious solution would be to process them normally: returning an empty set in get_meta
, and doing nothing for remove_all
.
But, since those files can't have metadata, people tend to use data as metadata.
For example, .c
files usually have a huge comment full of metadata: date, author, license, …
The same (with variations) goes for .srt
(subtitles) files.
