Bash prompt don't show typed characters

After the execution of "mat2 --inplace /home/user/Pictures/" the terminal prompt fail to display what is typed.

"Ctrl+C" doesn't solve the issue.

The only way I've found to workaround that is typing (blindly): reset

I'm running the "mat2 0.10.1"
