Random Pidgin nicknames are not generated on boot when the system clock is wrong

Macbook Pro (Retina, I guess all of them)

isn’t generating random nicknames on boot in Pidgin.

Tested XX times. Nicknames on IRC’s are always just XXX_NICK_XXX

What is the issue? I have no idea.
