Consider replacing some of our code with the GDM->GNOME session keyboard layout passthrough
As https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Input_device_configuration says, “a
layout manually chosen in gdm will be transferred into the session as an
additional keyboard layout”. This might allow us to drop some of our
super-racy code in PostLogin.default and/or tails-configure-keyboard
(#7912 (closed)). It might actually explain why our setting of
/org/gnome/libgnomekbd/keyboard/layouts in tails-configure-keyboard
is racy.
