Remove launchers in Windows 8 camouflage?
window-picker-applet’s lack of application “pinning” (i.e. such
applications remain as launcher when the application is not running) I
think we should remove all launchers. Otherwise, if an application that
has a launcher is running, two instances of the same icon will be
present in the panel (when #7325 (closed) is implemented).
Removing all launchers would mitigate this. Since the focus of this feature is to look like Windows 8, the added inconvenience is worth it, IMHO.
