Unclickable URLs in Tails Upgrader

For example:

If I understand correctly, this is due to Tails Upgrader running as a different user (#6509 (closed)) and we’ve had this problem in other software already. If it is the case, we’ll run into this problem time and time again and I’d like to have a better idea of what it would take to solve it, even if it’s quite a lot of work.
