No error message when saving to a volume that is not mounted
To reproduce:
- Open GNOME Screenshots.
- Take a screenshot.
- Plug in a USB stick (it’s not mounted automatically, see #15900).
- Choose to save the screenshot to the USB stick.
- No error message but the file is not saved to the USB stick.
Next step is to research if that’s possible to fix without enabling automount.
