Fresh vagrant-libvirt setup has broken synced folders

I’ve (mistakenly) re-created my build VM from the basebox, and mounting the synced folders fails with “mount: special device XXX does not exist”. Alan is experiencing the same problem since a few days (not sure if he re-created his build VM, but at least his build system did work until a few days ago).

I’ve “solved” this problem by running apt -t jessie-backports install linux-image-amd64 inside the build VM.

anonym, can you reproduce this? How about just using the backports kernel in the VM?
