Gnome crashes when reducing the amount of workspaces

How to reproduce

- open gnome-tweak-tools

- navigate to “Workspaces”
- reduce the amount of Workspace

Actual result
———————

On a Thinpad X201,

- gnome crashes then restarts when reducing from 4 to 3
- the message ‘Oh no, something has gone wrong’ appears when reducing from 3 to 2
