Have a sponsor per release
We could propose sponsors to be mentioned in our release notes as the
sponsor for each of our releases. The sponsor would pay for the cost
of
at least release management, QA, and technical writing for this release.
Our release notes probably generate a lot of views (we should check
that) and might interest sponsors in addition to #6972 (closed). The relation
between #6972 (closed) and this proposal is open to debate.
