Investigate eBay Giving and Amazon Smile for fundraising

Some orgs like the FSF rely on eBay Giving and Amazon Smile which give out a small percentage of all your eBay or Amazon purchases to a given organization.

What would be interesting to know is:

Whether this is worth it. Maybe we could ask kindly the FSF or other orgs doing this about the percentage of funds they get through this method.
What it would cost in terms of paperwork, verification, legal status, etc.
